To ensure consistency and clarity across all stakeholders, the following terms and concepts are defined as they relate to the Exotic Vaults Protocol.

General Terms

  • RWA (Real World Assets): Physical or tangible assets, such as fine art, luxury goods, real estate, and collectibles, that are tokenised for decentralised trading.

  • Vault: A collection of assets with similar characteristics (e.g., brand, provenance, condition) pooled together for trading and liquidity purposes. Vaults include liquidity pools to facilitate seamless trading at market responsive prices.

  • DEX (Decentralised Exchange): A blockchain-based marketplace where RWAs can be fractionalised, traded, and priced without intermediaries.

  • AMM (Automated Market Maker): A smart contract mechanism that enables trading within Vaults by maintaining liquidity pools and dynamically setting prices based on supply and demand.
