Stakeholders

  • Original Asset Owner: The individual or entity that initially owns the RWA and receives an ERC-721 token representing their beneficial ownership through the protocol. They retain legal ownership of the asset and benefit from new monetisation opportunities, such as trading or borrowing against the asset.

  • Liquidity Provider (LP): An individual or institution that supplies liquidity to Vaults in exchange for rewards such as trading fees and $XVAULT tokens.

  • Independent Auditor: A third-party validator responsible for verifying the authenticity, provenance, and condition of tokenised assets.

  • Physical Custodian: A trusted entity responsible for securely storing the physical RWAs that back ERC-721 tokens they mint.

  • Secondary Trader: A participant in the Exotic Vaults marketplace who buys or sells tokenised assets or Vault Tokens.

  • Governance Participants: Holders of $XVAULT tokens who vote on platform decisions through the DAO.
