Closing a vault
Prerequisites
A vault can be closed only when no assets remain in escrow and no undistributed EVEC remains. All ERC-721 claims must have exited and all distributions must have been executed and recorded.
Pre-close checklist
Inventory is zero in the locker, with burns or transfers recorded.
EVEC payable is zero, no pending memos or unresolved dust.
Pool positions are small enough to unwind without material price impact, or you have arranged a final market maker to absorb remaining depth.
Disclosures are up to date, including a closing notice with an expected timeline.
On chain close sequence
Pause new deposits.
Remove remaining liquidity from the pool and settle proceeds to the operational address.
Disable mint paths for new deposits.
Archive disclosures and emit a
VaultClosedevent.Publish a post close report: A final report that links to all closing transactions, summarizes lifetime deposits and distributions, and explains any residual housekeeping (for example, unclaimed redemption tickets handled by customer support).
