$XVAULT Trading Flow
What you are buying
You buy a vault token (ERC-20) for a specific vault, for example Watches. Your portfolio value is the current pool price multiplied by your balance of vault tokens.
Pricing and execution
The trade ticket displays a live price, fees, and estimated slippage from the pool. You confirm. Settlement completes on chain in minutes. Selling follows the same path in reverse.
Diagram, trade and hold
[You] → view live price → [liquidity pool]
confirm trade | updates reserves and price
receive vault token (ERC-20) ← | fees charged at execution
Portfolio value = current pool price × your vault token (ERC-20) balance
You can sell back to the pool any time, subject to fees and slippage.Where price comes from
The pool uses automated market making, so price moves with the balance of reserves, the supply and demand, and the size of your order.
Larger orders on shallow pools move price more. The app shows your minimum received and reverts if the market moves beyond that guard.
Edge cases
If a vault is paused for an operational reason, trading is disabled temporarily, your vault tokens (ERC-20) remain in your wallet. If liquidity is insufficient for your size, the app suggests splitting the order.
